Our friends had taken notice of our passion and expertise, and we soon began receiving calls and emails from people seeking travel and food advice. Our friends were curious about the cheapest way to get to a specific city, the best airline to fly with, and the best hotels to stay in. We were eager to share our experiences and recommendations, and we quickly established ourselves as the go-to people for travel and food advice in our circle of friends.
We were sitting in a cozy Cabo restaurant one day, talking about our travel experiences and the requests we had received. We saw a need for simple travel guides that provided information on the best travel and dining options in the cities we knew best. We decided to start creating travel guides that would include not only hotel recommendations but also information about local cuisines, cultural experiences, and hidden gems in various cities.
We were well aware that this would be a monumental task, but they were eager to get started. We spent the next few months writing these guides based on what we learned when we went to different cities, tried local food, and learned about different cultures. We went back through our trip logs, photos, and videos, reminiscing about the best places we visited. We finished our first travel guide, which was for Barcelona, after many days of hard work.
